- I was walking to the library around 6:45-7:00pm tonight, and I was passing through the parking lot between the tennis courts and the bible building when I saw one of my friends(a guy). I am a bit near sighted and it was dark(since it was night time) and so he said hey to me but I had to get a bit closer so I could tell who it was and so he asked if I couldn't see him and I said that I am near sighted and he asked if I wore contacts and I said no and he said if it was that I needed them but didnt wear them and i said that I need reading glasses but I never wear them. he then asked if it was because they were big and I said no that they were nice guicci glasses, and red, but that I don't wear them because they make me look smart, and he said "you always do." in short, a really cute guy told me that he thinks I am smart and always look smart. that's kinda cool :)
- got into this conversation with a high school senior who's coming to ACU next semester as a fresman. his name's Andrew and we talked for about 45 minutes; it was really awesome to be able to talk to him about ACU and my major and other things.
- my online timesheet for my job is now up and running, so that feels good!
- made plans to go have dinner with Anna tommorow at 6pm. I haven't hung out with her in forever, so that will be fun!
- laughed today
- randy harris talked in chapel today, and he said "following Jesus will cost you everything, and following Jesus will cost you nothing." the first part really hit home for me with the Brent thing going on right now...because it does feel like in order to be a christ-like friend to him and accept his decision I have to give up something, which in this case is my wanting to be able to have one on one time with him. it just really stuck with me.
I will write 5 good things that made each day a good day, no matter how small. some days I may write more than 5 things.
