God's Gifts To Me Today

1. my shifts at work this morning went by very quickly
2. went to Brew.net with Anna this afternoon; it was very good because we talked about my recent frustrations and wanting to "quit jesus." I am not sure if I am serious, but lately I just wish I could take a time out, or turn around and run because it doesnt seem to be making any kind of difference, my loving God and living like He wants me to you know?
3. at brew.net, I bought a brew.net t-shirt!!
4. went to a free pizza information on this new "make money easily"program. the program I found...not for me because it seemed to be dependent on too many "Ifs" but the pizza was good :)
5. saw a glimpse of a beautiful sunrise this morning.

1. slept in until 1:15pm today!!
2. went to Chillis for lunch!
3. bought some mix and baking pan to make cake cookies to sell for croatia. :)
4. went to the International Food Festival and it was a lot of fun! :)
5. went to mezzami's afterwards and played catchpharse with a bunch of people. pretyt awesome :)

1. skipped my morning classes and chapel today coz I needed some sleep!
2. Dan gave me(and 2 other people)a ride back to campus from coffee house and I talked to him and it was fun. i always have fun when i am around him. i did actually ask him how far he has gone with a girl, and...he answered! lol :) it was highlight of my day
3. I am trying to get more into singing during worship because I am very passive and not really think about it, and seeing Dan singing during service makes me want to change that. i am trying to sing with my eyes closed, because i found tonight that it helped me to concentrate on God. :)
4. made plans to talk about my recent..issues...with God with Brent tomorrow night, so I am glad.
5. made dinner plans with Jessica Lane tomorrow.

1. I sent Dan this(anonymous)letter telling him how he's encouraged with to do more than just passively sing worship songs during service but to actually mean them, and focus on God and how he is going to be such a good youth minister. anyway,I typed it because I dont want him to know it is from me because he might the wrong idea and think it is a love letter(i do like him like that but i dont want him to ever know!)and also I have never really done anything like this before, and so i am a bit nervous. but i am excited and i just hope that he doesnt freak out but that it brings a smile to his face. i love his smile...
2. jessica rodriguez gave me a ride to go pick up my bike!!i am so so excited to have my bike back! :) :)
3. my bike was $114 to fix and i paid for it myself :)
4. it was really nice and sunny today!
5. i've seen about half of my sbc and it's funny coz we've been back for less than 4 days and we already have all these plans to get together, but i love them. they're such awesome people!

March 22,2010 Gifts From God

1. Dan told me thanks for some comment that I made on a photo of him(or that he took)and I dont know what picture he's talking about or what comment because all my comments were silly, but it makes me glad to know that he appreciated it and even though he never responded he did appreciate my mass text this morning where I wished everyone a happy start to the week. so it was good...God is NOT helping me get this guy out of my life or out of my heart but I guess I am just going to have to trust Him.
2. had lunch with taylor. she gave me a ride to the police station to get my background check for the germany teaching english program, so it was a good time.
3. had dinner wity Haley, and it was a good time! :)
4. laughed a lot tonight!
5. i emailed the china program asking them if they had gotten my application and it turns out they had missed it or something so they told me it was a good thing that I emailed them! :)

March 20,2010 Gifts From God

1. woke up in time today!5:15am after going to sleep @ 2am! 3 1/2 hours of sleep!
2. left new orleans to go back home to abilene,texas.
3. one of the vans blew out a tire(i wasnt on it)but everyone on it was not hurt or anything and after a few hours delay we were on the road again!
4. we all made it back to ACU safe and sound!
5. I need to talk to Brent about some tough emotions and God things, and he actually said sure! i know it sounds weird, but his "no girl alone time"kinda has made me slightly scared to approach him in terms of asking him to talk or something you know?

God's Gifts To Me Today

1. I decided that I am going to be a prayer warrior, and I am going to start by storming Heaven on Europe's behalf. I started tonight before the SBC send-off devo. I used the Prayer for Nations booklet that I got from Greater Europe Missions. I started with the UK, and it felt SO good to pray for them. I followed the prayer requests listen on the UK page of the booklet but not word for word. I am going to pray and pray for Europe until they can pray for themselves, then they can start praying for others, and maybe, in the end, we'll all become part of God's family. I am begginign to realize that the followers in Europe are part of our family, and they need us,and non-believers need to be prayer for! I realized tonight that I may not be strong physically, or mentally, or maybe even emotionally(i cannot hide my emotions!), and I may not be the smartest, most social, prettiest, beautiful,outgoing,etc. but I can be a prayer warrior, and I may or I may not end up as a missionary in Europe(although that is one of my passions-I SO want to go to Europe and be a missionary), but I can still storm Heaven on their behalf, praying for each nation to become engulfed in fire for Jesus.
2. I found that studying in the library is actually really nice.
3. LOVED SBC send off devo! the talks, the songs,especially the prayer. for some reason, deciding to become a prayer warrior and to storm heaven on Europe's behalf made me even more....into praying. feel it more, if that makes any sense. it was like...I did my own praying, on my own time, and that helped me to be able to be more the community praying with others.
4. had a good 30 minute talk with Stacy about England and study abroad. it was like a sigh that I should go back this summer(and I AM going back-not going is not an option)and I ran into her in the campus center and she asked me if I missed oxford, and that is how it got started. I went to lunch at harvest moon with shannnon, and my fortune cookie had two fortunes inside. one said to stop talking about my plans because I will have more luck with them and the second one said that I will find my solution where I least expect it,and Stacy was like a sign of that, that my plans for this summer should be to work may and june and go back to Englannd in july-mid august you know? :)
5. had a really really good day :)
6. been thinking more about what God told me on Sunday(to not be afraid of a broken heart because He will heal it)and maybe He was telling me to not be scared to like you -you-know because I will get hurt;God will help with the broken heart that is sure to come my way eventually.
7. Tyler Allen tried to hug today after the Send off SBC devo as he was leaving, and I did say that I am not a hugging type person, but it is still cool that he tried to hug me because he's never tried to hug me before. lol

1. I was talking to two of my friends tonight in my usual spot in the library(they're freshmen)and Brent walked by and I sent him this text where I told him that my tattoo was of his name(he's playing along but he must know I'm messing with him because he is not freaking out). anyway, after he went into the library one them said," he's cute." and the other said:" he is cute. he is REALLY cute! he is so adorable!" now, I couldn't agree more; I think he is cute, adorable, beautiful attractive,etc. however, it was still...weird/funny/REALLY creepy to hear a girl talk about Brent Bailey as a GUY you know?
2. got my fifth tattoo!!!!I LOVE it! it was by far the quickest and least painful of all 5!
3. hung out with Jessica Lane today. she gave me a make-up lesson.
4. bought make-up remover. appprently it will help me take off make up faster and easier without me looking like I just cried my eyes out due to all the scratching with paper towels. lol
5. I bought lip gloss(scented)today. it wasnt that bad, kinda fun actually.
6. Brent ate one of my mcdonalds fries today. actually he ate more than one, however, it is small things like that that remind me that we are good friends(I hope lol)

2. I had a really good talk today with a friend I made named Katie. it was a good and fun conversation.
3. had a longer than 3 minute conversation with Brent Bailey today, so that only happens once in a blue moon so that was exciting!

3. Brent texted me! everytime he texts me without me texting him first is always so exciting for me. it reminds me that he does care about me.

5. I mailed my application for China Calls today! I really hope I dont get rejected because the more I think about it the more I feel like God is calling me to go to China after graduation. I have been thinking about this since fall of sophomore year!

1. I put on mu eyeshadow and blush today for the first time, and I think I did a good job because no one could tell I was wearing make up! I bought the two lighest shades they had and I really like wearing make-up, as long as it is subtle and I still look like me you know?very subtle in other words.
2. I laughed today
3. I went to lunch with some of my friends and it was a good time.
4. had a good fun conversation with a guy named Michael. it was lots of fun.
5. david mcmichael tried to hug me today after church on his way out the door. it was  a side hug but it threw me off guard because A)he had never hugged me before and B)I didnt see him coming. it was a bit funny. lol

March 6, 2010 Gifts From God

1. It was Jessica Rodriguez's birthday today, and so Sarah Lane, Jessica, Gregory, Dan and I went to see Alice in Wonderderland. it was a good movie, although it was more of a sequel. I liked that I ended up sitting next to Dan(I have a thing for him ok? lol) and it was a good time. a bit hard as well because I so wanted to hold his hand or rest my head on his shoulder but I couldnt you know?afterwards we all went back to Jessica's house for a surprise party, and the night ended at a park playing Lava Tag(I watched). it was a good night overrall.
2. I went to Chili's today! good food! :)
3. went to wal mart and bought eyeshadow and blush and Jessica Lane is gonna teach me how to put it on tomorrow.

5. did my two months worth of laundry today!

March 2, 2010 Gifts From God

1. Got an email from the Greater Europe Mission organization asking for a time to call me to follow up on my Ministry Exploration Form(first step in becoming a missionary with them)! the phone call is like the second step. so excited! :) they are calling tomorrow at 12pm!!
2. went to see my advisor and  it was awesome to see the reality of me graduating on time! plus, only 13 and 12 hours per semester senior year! :)
3. went to have dinner at Rosas. it was good!
4. saw Trevor at Rosa's and it was the closest thing to neutrality that I have ever felt towards him so to me, this is a good sign.
5. got the China Calls application and will start it to sent it in and start the process. they dont expect a sure, comminting answer until march 2011 but I want to get the process started and they agreed it was a good idea.
