1. went shopping today with Kelli and Emily and had so much fun! we went to goodwill stores but nothing really struck/wow me, so we ended up at Ross, and I found such an awesome dress! i wont look beautiful to anyone other than me and God, but that's all that counts. anyway,i love it and am so excited to wear it to the christmas party!
2. went to the free movie night in cullen and they were showing harry potter 6 so i had lots of fun!
3. had mcdonalds for dinner

5. sat up front in chapel today with sarah lane and some other friends and it was a good chapel!

November 15,2009 Gifts

1. had a guy friend of mine give me a hug today; just after we had talked for a few minutes but it was still really nice.
2. had a guy spring to open my door as i was coming out of the campus center(i was going out, he was coming in. i saw him sprint to open my door!it was...strange yet good if that makes sense).
3. talked to Trevor today, twice!lol. i love talking to him and i love him. i love that he gets my sense of humor. i make a joke and he gets it you know?just seeing him makes me feel calm and comforted, like i can handle anything, that the world is not such a scary place. i love his laugh and his smile...i just love him so much. the fact that we're still friend is definetly a miracle in my life. one of God's gifts to me.
4. i led life group today, with help from anne and kelli of course. i didnt make any huge impacts on their lifes, but just leading it was a huge deal for me and i dont think i did too terrible. the topic was contenment.

November 12, 2009 Gifts

1. it was such a beautiful day today!warm with a cool breeze, so nice!
2. watched people playing frisbee for about an hour before my 1:30pm class. it is the highlight of my tuesdays and thursdays. so peaceful and relaxing somehow.
3. we had SBC chapel today! it was an all SBC chapel, and it was at chapel on the hill, so it was way beyond awesome! i am so glad i am going on the new orleans sbc. it is going to be so awesome and i am so glad that God led me to it. i actually sang along to the songs, and it was really...comforting somehow.
4. during SBC chapel today, I found one of the differences between the stained glass sides!!!!only took me about 2 years! lol :) i did think that maybe it's some sort of sign that i have spent 2 years looking at those stained glass sides, trying to find the difference and on a day that i was not really trying i did find one. maybe God's trying to tell me to stop trying so hard. or maybe i am just reading too much into it. lol. but SBC chapel was so amazing and i loved it!
5. ate lunch with a good friend today at one of my favorite spots on campus: Jacob's dream. i did see butterflies while we were out there so it was a nice gift from God. God knows my weakness for butterflies.
6. i got an 89 on my international relations test!!!!!
7. I know, but I think that my excitment for my SBC to new orleans counts as 2 gifts from God. i am really really excited and i am SO glad i am going.

November 11, 2009 Gifts

1. I am alive
2. During HIP today, during the prayer garden time, I slipped out and of course started crying. been crying a lot this week but its problaly due to all the stress i have this week on me. anyway, i cried and i asked God to send someone to hold me as a cried and listen, really listen. i then went back to my seat in the auditorium, and right as i sat down the preacher came and sat next to me and gave me one of those side/bear type of hugs(i know horrible description) and he prayed me with me. i didnt even ask him to pray with me, so God answered my prayer! not exactly the way I asked, but He did answer it and in less than 2 minutes!God is way awesome.
3. I got my ethos ticket today! since i am a U.P resident, i get mine for $1 as opposed to $3!!
4. I laughed today. not a whole whole bunch but i did laugh.
5. i talked that guy i kinda have a small thing for, just quick non serious small talk, but it was cool! lol

1. had lunch with a friend today. always a good time.
2. during my lunch with a friend that is mentioned above, Trevor stopped by and talked for a bit. seriously, I love that guy and just talking to him improves my whole day. like i've said before, he calms me and makes me feel relaxed and safe and happy and peaceful and just...ME
3. talked to a certain guy tonight before he left the library for the night and that's always fun. lol ;)
4. paid the $25 fee for my SBC to New Orleans and turned in the paperwork, so I am offically signed up to go to New Orleans!!so so excited!

November 3,2009 Gifts

1. I had my advising appoitment today(at 8am, which meant i had to get up at 7am but way worth it!) and it went really well! I dont have to take world lit II because the HUM 222 block I took in Oxford(6 hr class)gives me three hours of sophomore lit class(or british writers II whichever one)and so that means no world lit II!it also gives my three hours of history 118, so i only have to take history 117! :) and I have to take this Recent Europe class that is in my degree plan but the history department is changing the courses they are offering, so my advisor told me to pick whatever history class i want that deals with Europe, and so I am taking two history classes next semester, back to back!! :) :) also, i am trying not to get my hopes up, but i did the calculations and i might be able to graduate on time! :)
2. did really well(i think)in my lifetime wellness test this morning.
3. had a good lunch at Rosas.
4. took some nice photos today;thinking of printing some to standard paper size and framing them in my apartment
5. paid my rent today!!

1. took pictures of the red flowers(roses maybe?)outside of the library and they turned out quite nice. I am thinking of printing 1-2 of them and hanging them in my apartment.

November 1,2009 Gifts

1. Signed up for my Spring Break Campaign to New Orleans today!! Since it is through Southern Hills, Southern Hill students get to sign up before the rest of ACU does, and so I signed up today! so excited! it will be lots of fun and rewarding I think. plus, my birthday is over spring break, so I will be in New Orleans when I turn 22! I turned 20 in Chicago(SBC freshman year), 21 in England(whoo england!!) , and 22 in New Orleans?! how awesome of a record is that?!
2. wore my black knee length leather boots to church again today!trying to break them in, so I start to feel comfortable wearing them.
3. after church I went to pizza hut and got their chicken pasta alfredo...so good!
4. went to kfc for dinner and it's been way way too long! lol
5. felt pretty good today.
6. we filmed out funny video for our neptune astronomy project today, and they told me I did a pretty good job as the astronaut! lol I was loud enough and they could hear me at least. lol

Halloween 's God Gifts

1. went to the Bodyflow class at the hendrick health club for my lifetime wellness class, and I must say it was pretty good! I am thinking of joining the club and going to some of the classes, lose weight,etc.
2. I did my laundry tonight...doing my laundry is always fun for me! lol and no, i am not being sarcastic
3. I had lunch at Chilli's and I had the margarita grilled chicken and it was so so good!
4. bought chicken noodle soup at wal mart today, and cannot wait to cook it!
5. got my communications and my english homework out of the way.
6. decided what SBC I am going to sign up for.
