1. been downloading songs from Itunes a lot during this visit, and today I bought a Ashley Parker Angel music video(the song itself was only avaialble if you bought the entire album)and a hip hop song. while I dont like the swearing and really gross naughty stuff, I have to say that since Anthony Soto graduated from Central Catholic, I kinda got into it a bit. a tiny bit. anyway, I heard the song on the radio a few days ago and I liked it, so I bought it! lol
2. started packing to go back to Abilene, and I managed to fit quiet a bit of stuff into the way smaller suitcase, and my parents will mail me the rest.

1. I had a really nice drive to the movies today! they played a lot of songs that I loved and it was a fun, singing in the car, driving...
2. went to see "it's complicated." and i loved it!! it was such a funny movie, and since it was R rated, the jokes were...adult, let's say. lol it was fun!  I laughed a lot!
3. started my application for the Cambridge International Outreach program in England! I am so so missing England it would be awesome to get to spend the summer there again! I could live there for two months, be involved in a program where I would actually have things to do, be around people, and be in England! lol plus if i get a day off or something, i could go back and visit oxford, nottingham,bath,london,etc. would be fun! and since i am signing up for all seven weeks, there would be no program cost for me, i would stay with a host family,and the only costs would be plane ticket there and daily food and stuff! and if i get a job this semester, then i could save up money for it you know?
4. I send away for information from graduate schools in England. I would love to do my MA in cultural studies there, and it seems that in England studying cultures are not as rare as it seems to be here! 2 years in England...my heart aches in longing! :)
5. some of the youth that I worked with this summer wrote on my status about applying to spend the summer in England that they've missed me and that I was cool!actually, the actual description was "legend." so maybe I didnt do as horrible a job as Simon seemed to think I did. lol :)

1. my dad took my to see the place where he works. it was actually really cool and he works with really nice people.
2. my grade for my lifetime wellness class was posted on my transcript today and i got an A!!!even though i did not go to the last exercise class and failing one test, i still got an A!! i guess getting 100 on that 50% of my grade really helped with that!

1.drove tonight fir the first time in a year!!!!I love driving and have missed it so much!!!!
2.saw new moon for the second time.
3.saw the movie called brothers.not same as trailer makes it seem but good.
4.all my grades for my classes except lifetime wellness and snow skiing are online and I made As and Bs on all of them so my semester total gpa so far is 3.08 and semester gpa so far is 3.40!!!I even got a B in world lit helped by the A I got on the final exam!!!
5.I am now a senior!!!!I have senior hours!!!was a junior for one semester thanks to my 12 CLEP Spanish hours!!!!

1.I got a window seat on the greyhound bus to dallas.it was an interestingstart to my trip home.ask me why.
2.I didn't have to call a cab to take me to stw.there was one right outside the station.
3.the flights were not as bumpy,except for the landings.i was actually relaxed and calm.
4.watched this awesome sunset while on the flight to Cleveland.clouds were made of color!

1. I had lunch with a friend today. I love outings with friends that happen without you planning them. like you just run into a friend on campus and you decide to go have lunch. it was fun.
2. I bought a cookie jar today! i sold 2 of my books and got $35 for them, and so I went to the table in the campus center where they were selling pottery and bought a cookie jar for $25! i've been wanting one but i wanted to get a special one that i really liked, and this one is unique because it's pottery; it was handmade you know?! lol so excited!
3. I had dinner at Chillis today. ordered a tall double malibu coke, and it definetly got me feeling a little...tipsy-ish. definetly an alcohol lightweight. lol it was fun though

6. I had a friend write on my wall today, saying bye coz he didnt see me all week and so he didnt get a chance to say bye. I love it when friends to things like that; it makes me feel like and realize that they do care about me you know?

1. had my hair straighten today!the salon lady told me was hair was beautiful, more than once, so that was a good little ego booster.
2. i cooked scambled eggs with cheedar cheese and ham in it, and it was actually good!

5. i wore makeup today and a semi formal dress. while dressing up like that is my idea of playing dress up(i am just not a dress up kinda gal) it was nice to put on some make up and look nice.

1. I looked at my english grades for my world lit I class, and my participation grade has gone from an F to a D, so my grade for the course is at a B-!! :) :)
2. I went to coffeehouse tonight(last of the semester) and it was fun!I played spades(card game)with three guys and it was lots of fun. LOL
3. I ordered 4 book on China and its culture from the reading list that the China Calls program send me! the more i think about this program the more i want to do it and the more excited in get. lol
4. I went grocery shopping today, so I actually have good in the house now! i bought cheedar chesse(the shreeded kind)and ham cubes so I am going to try to make scrambled eggs with ham and cheese! lol
5. I laughed a lot today, I was social today, I talked with people today(good conversations).

7. I dont know if this a good thing, but during coffeehouse today, i was sitting outside, reading my china calls pamplet, and there was this christmas tree there. it didnt have any ornaments on it and the lights were all white(no colored lights). I was talking to my friend Brent and being the christmas geek he is(sadly, he's converted me as well lol)he said that it looked very classic. at that moment, i realized that "classic"did not work for me. i dont want a "classic"formal tree, i want a informal, unique tree. i know, i totally dont know what this means either, but i guess it was a bit of an insight into millie you know?millie does not like "classic."to millie, "classic" means...dull.(no offense intended).
8. I started ESL teaching today at southern hills during HIP!! i am so excited! my student is from Nepal, and her name is Gira Maya Kai, and she is 23. she is speaking english well already and can write good, so it is a bit different teaching than with nancy but good nevertheless. it was so good and i enjoyed it so much!lol
