October 22,2009 Gifts

1. I had a good lunch at Rosa's.
2. I laughed today.
3. I talked to Trevor today. just a 5minute, run into each other between classes talk, but it was so good for me. i love talking to him, being around him. so calming and relaxing and fun for me.
4. I havent seen Brent Parker Bailey today which is good. dont get me wrong:it's not that i hate him or anything. he's my friend. it's just that...as silly as this sounds and as stupid and horrible, i dont like that i can be replaced so easily. i can cancel our thursday lunch hang out, and in 2 1/2 hours he already replaces me with someone else?yeah, nice to know i am so so easily replaced. besides, to me, he is a priority. my friendship with him matters more than me than just about anything. i have two friends, him and trevor, that if i am forced to choose between anything and them, it is not a contest by a long shot. it just...hurts that it's not two sides you know?
5. no one saw me crying today.
6. I walked to and from wal mart tonight.

October 21,2009 Gifts

1. I had a bit of a...crying fit/breakdown(nothing serious)after HIP tonight, and so I went to the chapel where I go when I am upset(at Southern Hills)and I cried and cried and I asked God to send me a sigh that He was there with me, that I wasnt too insiginificant for Him to be there or too busy, and tonight, when I was in the midst of holding back a flood of tears, this guy came up to me, and we chatted a bit(he said we had met a year or so ago)and he said that God is proud of me and wants me to know he loves the work I am doing, and that I am doing the right thing, and to keep it up. he said he felt God put it in his heart to tell me that. how awesome is that?God totally answered my prayer in such an amazing way.
2. watched the last episode of the first season of House. such an amazing show!
3. had my grad school meeting today and it went so good! they have an inter-cultural communications concentration under the Master of Communications degree, and so that is totally perfect for me and so awesome! :) :)
4. had a good lunch at Rosa's today.
5. had a good walk to Rosa's today.
6. I did my ESL lesson today and I gave Nancy the flashcards I made her and she loved them, so I am way excited.
