God's Gifts Today

1. My friend Brent was generous enough to lend me $20. Totally need that for gas and food, so I am thankful for him. 
2. I had a good meal of pizza and coke. 
3. I did not cry today. 
4. last day of freedom: My Master's program starts tomorrow!
5. I felt beautiful today. 

God Gifts Today

1. My pasta making machine came in today! it not only does spaguetti shape but linguine shape and regatoni shape, and it does sausage shape! and since it's not electric, I can take it with me to China. 
2. I did not cry in public today
3. after class at church tonight, Brent actually came over and talked to me! he usually comes, 1-2 minutes goes by, and then he has to go. but this time he actually came and had a good 5 minute or so conversation with me, an actual one and not an "out-the-door" conversation. plus, I didn't have to make an appoitment. it was really nice, he's RARELY/ALMOST NEVER does that. plus, we actually talked about him. it was nice to hear what he did this weekend and it was sooo good to hear how good of a time he had and that his grandpa was doing okay after a tiny bit of a rough patch. I know, am so silly, but it was nice to actually have him talk to me for real and not just about my life you know?
4. I help Kipp set up the chairs before class at church on wednesdays, and this week I had the idea to set them up in a triangle instead of our usual square.it was a big hit and I people actually liked it, so it was cool :) 
5. had an AWESOME drive back from southern hills tonight! I lowered all the windows, and put the AC on and the wind blew through and I am feeling down and upset right now, but going to class tonight helped so it was nice to be in good cheer.

Gifts from God Today

1. My Wedding Dress across cultures ethonography book arrived today! no time to read it, but homework load is not very heavy this week, and I'll have time to read it on my weekend campaign to lubbock this weekend! :)
2. me and Anna made spaguetti from scratch and sauce from scratch, and fed it to about 7-8 people, and it was fun! anyways, Brent was out of town but he really wanted to try it, so I saved him some, and so tonight, he texted me asking me what time I was getting home, and I said midnight. later he texted me if I was currently in my apartment. I was starting to get a bit suspicious because these questions sounded...weird. anyways, I texted that I was in the library but I could walk to my apartment if he needed me to be there. he said no, he'll just catch me when I was there. and a minute later texted asking me how about he picked me up at the library, took me to my apartment so I could get the spaguetti(and his earmuffs)and then drove me back to the library. lol. if he only would go to that much trouble for me and not my spaguetti, then things would be great!lol. what can I say?I love the guy. lol. 
3. made a 94 on my mandarin quiz!I thought I was going to get a C, maybe a B on it, so that's good! 
4. got to relax a bit today, not much HW. 
5. I did not cry on the outside today, though I am SO...losing it still.

God Gifts Today

1. It was warm out today!it was so great! 
2. went to do my history HW and realized there isn't any for this week(no reading)and my Mandarin HW is done through Wednesday, so I have plenty of time for geology HW and to work on papers! 
3. Brent was out of town this weekend, his grandpa was having surgery, and everything went okay, so am super excited about that! plus Brent made it back safely! lol I know, but I love him and I love it when he makes it back safe and I love that his family "situation" went okay. call me dorky lol. 
4. SBC Leader meeting tonight, and each group was assigned a situation/emergency that could happen while on SBC and we were supposed to make 1 minute skits to show how we resolved it. our was two campaigners get in a big fight and everyone else takes sides and the leaders have to resolve it. we did me and Tate get into a fight, it was his idea, and our fight was because I want to do the SBC work, he wanted to hang around with me. anyways, it was fun :) it really made me day. lol. I love tate, he's a lot of fun and he tends to treat me like am a normal girl, if that makes sense which it problaly doesn't. anyways, I love having him around. too bad he never asks me out, I so would lol.
5. I read 1 out of 3 articles for my INTS seminar class, so tomorrow I should be able to read the rest! it's gonna be a good week, very low on work and

Gifts From God Today

1. Made it to  NH! lots of delays and an unexpected overnight in Detroit(don't worry, booked a hotel room)but made it!
2. I always fly in to NH at night, so I've never seen it from the air, and I got to today! it was beautiful! LOTS of trees, which makes sense since NH is covered in trees, but seeing it from the air was awesome. am turning into a texan because the amount of trees in NH looked so...different for me....it shocked me! lol
3. my luggage made it with me!!!! same flight and everything!! when you have an overnight delay and a re-booking your luggagemaking it  is a concern! lol
4. got to eat my mom's cooking, which is awesome!
5. ate pasta de guayaba today!! SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!lol i had a dominican moment there lol
6. I'm realizing I LOVE New England, I just dont like how overprotective my parents are, and how they never really let me go out all that much when am here because of snow, dark out,etc. i see this is a good because i always thought i hated New England, and its...nice to know I don't. make sense?i can almost see  myself here. lol

December 28, 2010 Gifts

1. went to fazoliz for dinner, and I got my usual  Fettochini Alfredo. and they asked me if I wanted Chicken with it and I said yes!! they almost never ask me, so i never get chicken with it. :)
2. continued my GRE studying...going good so far I think.
3. slept in today but not too late, just until 12:30pm or so.
4. chatted online with Brent Bailey a bit. he told me he went to the movies by himself, and it just made me so proud of him! lol
5. went to see Yogi Bear(a movie)tonight and it was so funny! loved it!

God Gifts To Me Today(12/8/10)

1. I went to the bible department today to see about auditing  a class called "short term missions"(which didnt work out coz its for world wide witness interns only)and I walked in and there were these two older gentlemen talking in the lobby-like area and this cute little boy, he couldnt have been more than 5 or 6 years old, and he just came over and gave me a hug and it was so cute and so adorable! really a bright spot in my day :)
2. southern hills wednesday gathering was fun as usual. I love going simply to talk to my friends and see them.
3. Brent Bailey actually stopped and talked to me for maybe 5 minutes on his way out the door today!!!!:O :O lol
4. decided to audit world evangelism, MWF 9am next semester.
5. laughed a lot today
6. got my grade back for one of my 5 papers that I had due(all within a week or so of each other) and I got a 90(A) on it! I wrote it about...3-4 hours before it was due! but not too much research was invoved and it was half reflection. still...Also got a 97 on another one of those 5 papers, and I wrote that one the day before it was due!
7. watched  a REALLY  hilarious video we watched for my language learning strategies class. it was about input and how sometimes when the brain doesn't get all the sounds and there are "gaps" it assighs it to the closest vocab it sounds like in the vocab memory. HILARIOUS!! to watch it, click here.
