- My luggage was not a major problem in terms of them being allowed on the train. a hassle to carry around but other than that, not a big issue.
- I had several people throughout the day help me with my luggage when I needed it-up stairs, onto the train, on the luggage racks on the train,etc. Angels from God :)
- I was walking around the street near my hostel and I ran into someone from ACU! his name is Jeremy Davis and he works in the admissions office. he told me that, btw. I dont recall him although I do know I know him, if that makes sense. we only talked for less than 5 minutes but it was nice that within my first hour here I ran into an ACU person!
- Most of the stuff that I want to do are near my hostel,right on High Street(my hostel is on Blackfrair's, right off High Street): the storytelling centre, the Wee World Cafe, two of the castles, tours...amazing! and I can see the ocean from the street, since it is on a hill...so beautiful!
