October 8,2009 Gifts

1. In lifegroup last week, Kelli(one of the two girls leading it)said that she used to pretend that God was literly "romancing her" i guess is the way to phrase it. for example, she would see a bush with flowes and would pretend that God had made that bush with the flowers for her and she would think "no guy on earth can top that."i really liked that, and so i have been doing that this week today in particular(or trying to). for example, the campus has been take over by butterflies lately, and so I pretend that God made and put those butterflies especially for me. and when i kept seeing them everywhere today, i would think "God found my weakpoint."and it really did make me feel special, and it did make me think that no guy can top God making me a butterfly you know?silly i know... it made me really happy today.
2. I had lunch with one of my friends today, and it was so nice!i know this sounds corny, but i love spending time with my friends, and this particular friends is so busy that i hardly see him. i dont know, it was just nice.
3. I am believing more and more that God wants me to do weekend campaigns. I went to Weekend Campaign Chapel today, and it was so good! i had this awesome conversation with one of the girls about New Moon, and it was such a good time. I feel like I am getting to know new people, and i love going on the campaings, and it gets me out of ACU and Abilene every few weeks when i need to, and it gives me a chance to find me and help others...it is so so awesome!
4. I was in the campus center before my 6:30pm snow skiing class and there was this table where they were giving out flower bouquets in a vase, for breast cancer going by the pink ribbon around the vase, and i hesited about taking one because i was not sure if i could take care of them, and then they were out. then a few minutes later, someone gave one back or someone, and i went and took it! i love it, and going with my "God Romancing Me"idea, I pretend that the bouquet was from God, and it was of course. They totally were from Him.
5. My "Elizabeth"and "Elizabeth:The Golden Years" DVDs arrived today, and I am SO excited!! i love the first movie and cant wait to see it again and then right after see the second one! i am so excited!!
6. i watched an episode of house on my season 1 house dvd. such an awesome show!
